Study reveals where climate change is most likely to induce food violence

Due to climate change, melting glaciers are expected to raise sea levels, resulting in flooding in mass catastrophes. Believe it or not, this won’t be the worst effect of global warming. According to a new study published in the Journal of Peace Research — the first ever to take into account climate change-induced weather patterns on violence and the strength of governments around the world, certain locations will be more susceptible to food violence than others.
