FOLKK puts a sustainable twist on handcrafted products by Balkan artisans

A group of Belgrade-based designers are on a mission to revive centuries-long craftsmanship of Balkan artisans through sustainable production and use of locally available materials. Working under the auspices of Nova Iskra design hub, FOLKK initiative tackles the issue of rural exodus by allowing local makers to sustainably produce homeware design products such as kilims, pillows, wooden plates, knitting and serving boards.
